Our Mission
M2HO is on a mission to save lives in Richmond — preventing at-risk youth and young adults from incarceration or worse, early death. Our organization works with children and youth aged 9-21, offering mentorship, fitness, and educational activities in safe and accessible spaces.
Everyone deserves a chance to thrive, regardless of past experiences or current circumstances. M2HO is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can access the resources they need to reach their full potential.
Our History
M2HO was founded by Fahim Lejon Reese in 2013 at Folsom State Prison. While incarcerated, Fahim used the resources available to him to transform into a caring mentor and role model.
One of his first accomplishments was organizing the prison’s first cancer walk. “I personally felt the need to make an impact beyond the cancer walk by positively helping to support other people’s lives. A day of volunteering turned into a passion to help others.”
Our Solution:
